“In God’s Hands”

I created this painting 2 weeks after that tragic event on September 11, 2001. I felt the people who lost their loved ones needed some comfort during that loss which happened so quickly and without cause.

It became so well known, that rumor spread across the nation it was going to be made into a Postal Service stamp. Unfortunately when contacted by the Postal service they informed me because it had a Christian connotation that it could not be considered into reproduction. many people were upset over that decision.

Those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior were saved on that day, all those who lost believing loved ones needed this comfort. God’s hands in the painting are opened wide to accept His children, where they will never again feel pain, cry a tear or feel loss as they await all of us to join them once more.
